Job Title: Continued Airworthiness Engineer
Steele Charles is delighted to represent a leading aerospace company in Hampshire seeking a skilled Continued Airworthiness Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations, including EASA Part M and other applicable standards.
* Prepare and review continuing airworthiness documentation, such as Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARCs), Maintenance Programs, and Service Bulletins (SBs).
* Develop and manage work packs for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
* Conduct airworthiness assessments of modifications, repairs, and upgrades to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and maintenance organizations regarding airworthiness matters.
* Evaluate Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) for applicability and implementation.
* Monitor and maintain the accuracy of aircraft technical records, ensuring updates are reflected in maintenance tracking systems.
* Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Assist with internal and external audits, including CAMO and regulatory authority inspections.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education: Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Experience:
* 2–3 years of experience in airworthiness engineering or continuing airworthiness management.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EASA, FAA, and ICAO.
* Experience with maintenance planning and technical record-keeping systems (e.g., Aerotrack, CAMP, OASES).
3. Certifications: Knowledge of EASA Part M, Part CAMO, or Part 145.
4. Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and airworthiness data.
5. Soft Skills:
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
