If you are passionate about operations and supply chain management, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a collaborative atmosphere, we invite you to join our dynamic team and help us take our company to new heights Responsibilities: Promote and ensure the health, safety and environmental requirements of the business are maintained in accordance with regulatory and company policies Align development plans for managers to the business strategic plan to ensure structure, accountability, responsibility and focus Achieve all agreed targets for safety, customer service, business processes and financial metrics Lead the ongoing management and effectiveness of the Sales and Operational Planning programme Promote and develop close collaboration and integration between planning, production, logistics and other operational areas to optimise performance in schedule attainment, adherence and on-time delivery Ensure capacity and capability plans for staffing levels and outsourcing are timely, cost and operationally effective, and deliver customer expectations Ensure full process controls and adherence to Information Systems tools for both production and supply chain operations including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Forecasting and logistics management Ensure distribution warehouse and logistics are sized, designed, and staffed in line with requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value added service Responsibility for development and implementation of annual savings plan. Measure, track and report procurement performance against benchmarks. Monitor and report the performance of suppliers through formal and informal review procedures. Communicate supplier performance, identify areas for improvement and collaborate with suppliers to implement. Use of Lean approach to ensure ‘right first time’ and elimination of waste through production, project management, planning and execution processes. Coordination with Engineering teams regarding product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods Responsibility for the execution of fabrication orders to appropriate standards/quality ensuring on time delivery in accordance with customer expectations Responsibility for all production equipment and maintenance of facilities Conduct all company business in accordance with appropriate regulations, company policies and procedures and demonstrate the highest ethical and professional standards. Requirements: Demonstrable experience leading cross-function teams, working in an operational/manufacturing and supply chain environment Excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong customer focused approach Results and solutions focused. Confident, articulate and professional and able to communicate and influence at all levels with exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of supply chain management and production principles, ERP, WMS, Lean implementation, and MS Office. Previous experience with MS Business Central would be advantageous, Senior level supply chain and logistics experience with a track record of operational service level and efficiency improvement. Proven ability to lead and project manage across functions, within timeline and budgetary constraints In depth knowledge of sourcing, procurement principles and systems, together with strong negotiation skills Strong background with accounting practices, costing, materials management, Bills of Materials and shipping, together with a broad financial knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet This position may require occasional domestic travel and infrequent European travel for the purpose of customer, supplier, or wider Group interface. Hours of work are 07:45 – 16:30 Monday – Friday (15:30 on Friday) based in Southam. You may be required to work flexibly around these core hours as necessary to meet the demands of the business.
