We're looking for a Payment Operations Analyst to join us in Bradford.

The team is responsible for Purchase to Pay, Billing, Customer Payments, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and Travel and Expenses.
We provide these services to our colleagues across Europe and the US, including to VirginMedia-O2, Virgin Media Ireland, our head offices, and a number of exciting new ventures.

What will you be doing?
This role provides first line functional support to the business and our suppliers for our procurement systems, by phone and by email. It involves collaborating with a wide range of people to deliver outstanding customer service for our colleagues and suppliers.
1. Updating master data in the procurement system e.g. user access, vendors, catalogue listings, accounting cost centres etc.
2. Monitoring and resolving transactions which have failed to complete successfully, e.g. approved purchase requisitions which have not generated purchase orders, or invoices which have not interfaced.
3. Supporting users to create, process and maintain their PRs and POs.
4. Managing Chatbots and assigning tickets to the relevant departments.
5. Raising change requests with Finance Systems team where required, and partnering with them to test the changes.
6. Training users on how to use the procurement and helpdesk solutions.
7. Driving the automation agenda, identifying improvements and automations which increase our efficiency and governance.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Project management experience.
2. Proficient use of German in a business environment.
3. Experience of working with Finance / Procurement systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, RightNow.
4. Strong Excel skills.
