Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Global manufacturing business in Scarborough so are looking to recruit a HSE Advisor. Reporting into the HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and promoting Health, Safety, and Sustainability. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health & safety regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Ensure the Health & Safety of employees, contractors, and visitors on-site.
* Conduct daily & weekly safety audits and lead risk assessments as required.
* Develop and maintain contingency plans for emergency situations.
* Deploy and manage occupational risk assessments and site impact assessments.
* Ensure that safety control measures are in place and followed by employees, contractors, and visitors.
* Lead and monitor safety walks, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.
* Maintain and improve the Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Management System (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001).
* Ensure regulatory compliance in Health, Safety, and Environmental fields.
* Track, report, and communicate KPIs to senior management and external stakeholders.
* Lead the H&S committee, coordinating teams and promoting a strong safety culture.
* Deliver training programs to employees at all levels to enhance awareness and compliance.
I'm keen to speak to HSE Advisor with the following skillset:
* H&S Qualification – NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification.
* Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Ability to lead audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
