Job Description Based at Bellevue House, Springfield Terrace, Arbroath. This job is workstyle 3 - Flexi. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration. The Investigations Team is a Social Work Service for Children & Families which is based in Bellevue House, Arbroath and covers the whole of Angus. The team provides a time limited service to children and young people for whom there are Child Protection concerns. The role involves working in partnership with families and other services, mainly police, health and education, to share/gather information, carry out assessments and respond to any concerns for the child to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Key tasks are engaging with children and young people, and supporting families who are often in crisis. We provide a trauma informed, rights based and person-centred service to children, young people and their families. In addition, the team plays a wider role in promoting best practice in protecting children across Angus and there will be opportunities to become involved in this work.
