The UK Managing Director will have P&L responsibility for a multi-location depot network providing: cleaning, haulage, heating, maintenance and repair, testing, handling and storage services. Specific objectives include: Develop, implement and champion an effective roadmap to ensure DCI is an industry leader in SHEQ Embed a new organisation structure and create a highly effective team enabling the UK to deliver its strategic growth objectives Agree meaningful performance metrics for the business to be able to measure against and track progress Quickly formulate and agree the short, medium and long term improvement strategy both at a macro and micro (depot) level with the leadership team Develop and execute a capital budget enabling the business to modernise and improve against key metrics while ensuring effective payback of investment Optimise the customer journey and create the organisational structure required to deliver this in conjunction with the commercial teams Identify and achieve organic growth with existing and new customers across the sites Collaborate positively with the wider European and Global teams sharing development and best practice opportunities Help identify and integrate acquisition targets into the country structure This is a transformation role and will require the individual to have existing experience of the tank container or closely related asset sector either as an operator or service provider. The individual will require experience in: developing strategy, delivering results, leading people and managing stakeholders at senior levels.
