To manage the delivery of a housing service in line with our Group Mission and Values. Assist in the provision of an efficient and effective service to support client engagement through the delivery of day-to-day services within the Project and the community to clients who are managed under MAPPA arrangements, accommodated via our Ministry of Justice contract. Manage and develop a staff team by recruiting high quality staff in conjunction with the Deputy Housing Manager, Area Manager and the HR Business Partner. Develop and support staff in understanding and carrying out their roles. To ensure the staffing structure and levels meet the need of the service. Give Christian pastoral support and ensuring that pastoral needs are being met. The post holder must be a Christ-centred individual who is able to put their belief in Christ into action as a leader and supervisor of staff. To be involved in the recruitment of other staff for the Group, where there is a requirement for that staff member to be a practising and professing Christian. Ensure that clients are empowered within housing law and are equipped with the necessary life skills to be able to maintain a tenancy independently when moving on from the Trust services in a manner that will sustain crime free living. This will be achieved by assessing needs, action planning and appropriate risk management planning and using multi-agency approaches. The successful candidate will be a practicing Christian who will create an environment where people feel valued, empowered and equipped to do their best work. This person will play a full part to further the organisational aims and provide strong Christian leadership to allow Langley to be a leader within the different sectors in which it operates.
