Your expert knowledge and technical know-how will be encouraged, while creativity is also valued to come up with innovative solutions.This is a full time office based role for a Senior Civil Engineer based in our Norwich office at Pinnacle Consulting Engineers.Key requirementsDegree qualified in Civil Engineering or related disciplineIdeally 2 to 6 years of experience in a Civil Infrastructure design consultancyIncorporated or Chartered Engineer desirableSound knowledge of engineering principles, technical drawings, and planning dataExperience with Autodesk Civil3D, Vehicle Tracking, MicroDrainage or relevant Drainage Design software and AutoCADAbility to work within and able to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teamsProblem solver, able to offer solutions to challengesUnderstanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environmentConfident, articulate, collaborative and proactiveEager to learn and develop their skills and career with training supportAbility to work on Civil projects from the preliminary to completion stagesDemonstrable experience in the design of highway and civil infrastructure projectsConfident and concise communicatorStrong organizational, analytical, communication skills, design skills and report-writing skillsSound knowledge of all building materials and the safe application of current construction methods and design standardsExperience in Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy ReportsExperience or knowledge of Due Diligence work is desirableKnowledge of European national annexes of Eurocodes is an advantageKnowledge of the HOAI performance phases and work stages according to RIBA is an advantageExperience in preparing hydraulic calculationsCommunication and integration strength within the interdisciplinary planning teamsIndependent, creative, project and goal-oriented way of workingHigh level of commercial awarenessDeliver design packages and engineer technical aspects for small to medium-sized projectsAble to utilise expertise to devise innovative solutions for complex engineering challengesCollaborate with colleagues to ensure timely project delivery and target achievementWillingness to travel on business, including in other European countriesWhat Pinnacle can offerWe are a supportive, dedicated and caring business that will enable you to reach your potential and beyond.
