Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Epping Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: The English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor will provide specialised support to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs. Duties include designing and delivering tailored lessons, assessing students' progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles. The tutor will collaborate with school staff and parents to create effective learning plans and maintain detailed records of student performance. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Education. Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs. Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with Special Educational Needs. Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated understanding of SEN teaching strategies. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Proficiency in assessment and data analysis. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs. Training in specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or ADHD. Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will work in a classroom or learners home setting.
