Business Development Executive
Location: Wallsend
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + uncapped commission (realistic year one £10k)
Job Description:
My client is a market leader in providing back office, compliance and workforce solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an ambitious Business Development Executive to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their development. Working closely with the Head of Sales and Product team, you will research, identify, and engage new prospects, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to better understand their needs and our product fit.
Duties:
1. Successfully promote and sell products.
2. Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to clients.
3. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the functions of and enhancements to the company platform and other software suites.
4. Have consultative conversations about a range of products, understanding which would fit the client best.
5. Explore new ways to increase sales opportunities.
6. Attend conferences to promote company products.
7. Liaise with product managers to maintain a strong understanding of the product range.
8. Canvas for potential clients and generate own opportunities.
9. Assist team with delivery of marketing tasks/campaigns.
10. Undertake any other reasonable tasks commensurate with your skills and experience.
11. Support SDRs with campaigns for lead generation and work closely with them to help both roles succeed.
12. Ensure CRM system and pipelines are kept up to date for forecasting.
13. Work effectively with Head of Sales and the Product team to give feedback around updates to existing products and other developments we could sell.
Required Knowledge, Skills or Experience:
1. Proven/demonstrable sales experience in a B2B environment.
2. Clean driving license.
3. Passion for technology and a high level of technical understanding of IT tools.
