Calibration Engineer to work at our clients calibration laboratory based in Norwich.
Job description
Full time Calibration Engineer to work within the Calibration Laboratories in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibrating, fault-finding/repairing a vast range of electrical and mechanical equipment to national/international standards and to customer specifications/requirements.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked within a Calibration Laboratory and be familiar with ISO 17025 (UKAS) with experience of calibrating a wide variety of equipment and show a willingness to learn new techniques and disciplines. The successful candidate should preferably hold a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC 3. Training will be given
You must also have:
* Good communication skills and ability to work on your own or as part of a team
* Accurate and precise recording skills
* Full Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
* Be computer literate preferably with a knowledge of Mac operating systems.
* Working hours Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm Friday 8.30am - 1pm - Salary - dependant on experience
