Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Auto Electrician located in Airdrie. The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems, and installing new electrical components. Daily tasks will include conducting routine electrical maintenance on various heavy commercial vehicles, troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaboration with mechanics to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the fleet is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems
* Experience with installing and maintaining electrical components on heavy commercial vehicles
* Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and compliance
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Valid auto electrician certification or equivalent qualification
* Prior experience in an auto electrician role, preferably within the commercial vehicle industry
