Role Summary: As the Operations Administrator for our Technical Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for supporting the technical team in the coordination and administration of projects, documentation, and processes, contributing to the timely delivery of high-quality developments. What you will do: Support the technical lead in the day to day running of the department. This will involve administrative support and liaising with all team members across multiple projects ensuring smooth daily operations. Assist individual technical team members by liaising with external consultants to obtain fee proposals, manage appointments, and co-ordinate work streams to promote productivity. Assist in managing departmental budgets, invoices, and purchase orders, tracking of project fee budgets, for both external consultants and internal resources. Produce reports and presentations with assistance from the technical team for a variety of projects from feasibility stage through to construction. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage minutes for internal and external stakeholders. Arrange and issue copies of drawings in either electronic or paper form. Electronic archiving / uploading of drawings in accordance with office structure and ensure that all communications, drawing folders and superseded drawing information is up to date. Reference and keep up to date with current statutory requirements and liaise with technical managers and other colleagues in respect of compliance with statutory requirements or advice on technical detailing. Track and monitor project progress, highlighting any issues or delays to senior management. Support with reporting, data analysis, and any ad-hoc administrative tasks. What you will have: Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a technical or construction-related environment. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of AutoCAD would be advantageous but not necessary. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Basic understanding of construction or property development processes is advantageous. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
