This is an exciting time to be joining QEF, at our 48 bed, state of the art, Care and Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead. This Centre provides residential specialist care for people with complex physical, sensory, cognitive and emotional difficulties and rehabilitation care and support to people who are on the stroke pathway or as part of their neurological rehab pathway by helping them to gain independence. We are able to offer a Tier 2 visa sponsorship for this role for applicants already in the UK. No relocation package offered. Main duties of the job Oversee and manage the clinical care of clients undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring high standards of physical and personal wellbeing, including diet, hygiene, and appearance. Implement and assess care plans and therapy guidelines, ensuring their effectiveness. Administer and audit medication in collaboration with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support. Manage continence care plans in consultation with the Continence Advisor. Monitor and support clients dietary needs according to dietician recommendations. Ensure a safe environment and compliance with infection control guidelines. Maintain accurate and legible records of clinical care. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and external professionals, including medical staff. Provide advice and training to staff on clinical care needs. Follow Health & Safety regulations and report any incidents or hazards. Maintain confidentiality regarding client and service information. Foster positive staff relationships and contribute to team effectiveness. Supervise Support Workers during shifts. Work with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support on client clinical matters.
