Are you an experienced and dynamic Internal Sales Coordinator looking for your next position?
We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator at our Colchester officeto beresponsible for the raising and pricing of quotes, order conversion and query/complaint resolution. You will pro-actively manage pipeline business, working towards agreed SLA ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Working closely with our orders and distribution functions, you will provide internal and external sales support to the regional team alongside the wider Tarmac group.
Main Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as the Internal Sales Coordinator will include (not exhaustive):
Keeping updated with the product range and develop in-depth knowledge of the Tarmac Aggregate and Asphalt
Working with the team converting enquiries into orders, respond to sales calls and emails
Demonstrating an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers
Prioritising and multitasking daily duties
Understanding and assessing customer needs
Representing the company and its core values
Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
Engaging with the customer to better understand requirements
Please note: Due to the location of the site, you would need to be able to travel to the work location without the use of public transport
The Ideal Candidate
It is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of Internal Sales Coordinator will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team and hold experience in the following:
SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems
Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
Showing a positive attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues
Being proactive to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goals
In the role ofInternal Sales Coordinator,you will also have:
Good interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication
Numeracy and analytical ability
Training will be provided for:
Products, Procedures and our Computer systems
The role is based our at Tarmac Colchester Office. The office is easily commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas
