Are you passionate about flood resilience and river health? Join our team as a Flood Liaison Coordinator.
As a Flood Liaison Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Flooding Officers and ensuring they have the latest information to assist customers. You will be the go-to person during storm events, providing first responders with essential data and coordinating job dispatches. Your administrative support will allow officers to focus on triage, ensuring evidence is accurate and uploaded to the right platforms.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support flooding officers with GISST visibility, EA river gauge levels, and liaising with hydraulic modellers.
* Provide first responders with vital information during storm events and assist with job dispatch and customer notifications.
* Validate and upload evidence to Mod +, update SAP job notes, and close down jobs as required.
* Compile pollution response data and submit it to the appropriate platforms.
* Track customer engagement and feedback, and update insights from community education events.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate information is provided to the Flood Liaison Team.
* Provide systems support for sampling events and ensure data is compiled and updated correctly.
* Review mapping programmes to support field teams with customer queries.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful as our new Flood Resilience Coordinator, it’s expected that you’ll have:
* Proven experience in managing customer queries and tracking information.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
* Attention to detail to ensure information accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Curiosity to learn about flooding, flood resilience, and river health.
* Full UK Driving License.
