Arden Lodge is a residential care home in Acocks Green, Birmingham, providing care for up to 44 residents. We have dedicated, staff who work on a person-centred approach, supporting residents in a respectful and empathic manner.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team. The role will require you to provide the best possible care and support to our residents, whilst also overseeing a team of Care Assistants.

This is a full time permanent position:
o 36 hours per week – 12 hour shifts
o Location – Acocks Green
o £12.74 per hour
Overall duties include:
Lead a team of care assistants with responsibility for training new staff
Ownership and delivery of care plans
Ensuring residents receive the highest possible quality of care and support, monitoring general health and reporting any concerns
Communication and building rapport with residents and their families
Delivery and monitoring of medication, and completing audits
Providing personal care and assistance with mealtimes when required
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience with Dementia preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A flexible and creative approach
