We are looking for a talented in-house Editor / Filmmaker to join our team and help further elevate our work.
Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile, creative, energetic and experienced Editor / Filmmaker to join our team. You will work closely with our production and creative teams, taking projects from brief through to delivery. Your role will involve building presentations and treatment, filming, editing, and delivering high-quality motion picture content, both for other directors and projects you lead yourself, for a variety of platforms and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
General
* Deliver creative output for Motion Picture, both for other directors and projects you will direct yourself.
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative Input
* Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table for each project.
* Collaborate with producers and creative teams on concept development and visual storytelling.
* Build a powerful audio track to accompany the films.
* Offline & online edit of any tasks assigned to you including varying duration motion picture content using Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Premiere Pro, After Effects etc).
* Effective media management.
* Create motion graphics, special effects, colour grading, and audio post-production.
* Work with the team to review and implement feedback, ensuring the final product meets both creative and technical requirements.
* File transfer for WIPs and deliveries.
* Archiving and backing up.
Project Management
* Oversee video production from concept to final delivery, managing timelines, assets, and communication with stakeholders.
* Maintain an organised workflow, ensuring all project files are managed efficiently and deadlines are met.
* Engage with clients to understand their vision and objectives, providing guidance and input on the creative direction of each project.
* Look after and engage with attending visitors including clients, directors, producers.
Minimum Requirements:
* 3 to 5+ years experience.
* Proven experience as an Editor / Filmmaker working in-house at a production company or agency.
* Strong skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
* Strong workflow knowledge, including codecs, offline and online, delivery etc.
* Strong research techniques for both visuals and sound.
* Impeccable understanding of editing techniques and narrative visual storytelling.
* Solid skills in presentation and design software (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, online presentation platforms).
* Experience with colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
* A keen eye for detail, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Impeccable communication skills in English.
* Willingness to take feedback and constructive criticism.
* Willingness to work flexibly with the objective in mind.
Bonus Skills:
* Proficient in camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment.
* Animation or 3D graphics experience.
* Experience in producing content for social media platforms.
* Language other than English.
