The Corporate Actions Processing Analyst will be responsible for processing Corporate Action related instructions and entitlements in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring internal and external reconciliation.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Processing all types of Voluntary and Mandatory with Option Corporate Actions in a timely manner.
2. Ensuring all cash and stock exceptions are investigated.
3. Displaying a pro-active approach ensuring team goals are achieved, communicating within the team to identify best use of capacity and resources.
4. Contributing to internal controls and audit requirements by maintaining electronic folders ensuring relevant documents are included.
5. Static data updates escalated when identified to ensure continuous improvement of the team processes.
6. Following documented procedures to ensure team compliance with industry regulation and best practice.
7. Acting with honesty and integrity at all times, performing duties with a high level of skill, care, diligence, and sound judgement.
8. Maintaining a high level of client service by responding to client queries resulting from processing promptly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following qualities:
1. Prior experience in Investment Operations, specifically Corporate Action related activities.
2. Understanding of a wide range of Corporate Action event types across major markets and across all instrument types.
3. Computer literate.
4. Extensive knowledge of the EMEA and UK markets and processing methods.
5. CREST and Euroclear (Easyway) knowledge is essential.
6. Corporate Actions swift literate.
