We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager [part-time, 21-25 hours per week, flexible hours for the right candidate] We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is passionate about a sole charge role, inspiringly managing the accounts of a small, entrepreneurial, owner-managed business from start to finish. This includes not only performing full bookkeeping functions but also creating management accounts and offering valuable financial advice to drive our success. We seek someone who is equally excited about rolling up their sleeves to input monthly finance numbers as they are to collaborate with the senior leadership team, reporting on the business's finances and guiding us in financial matters Delivering comprehensive bookkeeping services that lead to the creation of clear and insightful management accounts, empowering informed decision-making. Taking charge of debtor control, sales invoicing, and cash flow management to foster a vibrant financial landscape. Collaborating with external accountants to ensure the timely preparation of annual accounts and fulfil important company secretarial duties. Partnering with the senior leadership team to craft tailored financial reports illuminating the strategic growth path. Embracing a hands-on approach to finance, driving impactful outcomes across the organisation. Key candidate requirements: Qualified accountant with exceptional technical accounting skills - ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, combined with valuable post-qualified experience in financial accounting, management, or controller roles. We welcome candidates who have gained their qualifications through experience as well. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the organisation. Proven track record of delivering process improvement projects and delivering savings The ability to see the bigger picture as well as get stuck in the detail Excellent communication skills Be passionate about driving and influencing the value that finance can contribute to an organisation. Knowledge and experience using financial packages, such as Quickbooks Online, Zoho & Seedlegals is desirable.
