Job Title: Electrical Site Manager Scope of Works: Air Source Heat Pump Installation & Strip Out Works Location: Dalston, London Contract Duration: - 6 – 8 months About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the installation of air source heat pumps on a commercial refurbishment project in Dalston, London. This project involves a range of tasks, including pipework installation, ensuring power supply from the plant room to the pumps, as well as overseeing the strip-out process and scaffolding requirements. As the Electrical Site Manager, you will ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, adhering to both technical specifications and project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the installation of air source heat pumps, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Coordinate and oversee the pipework installation and power supply from the plant room to the heat pumps. Ensure all electrical work is completed in line with project timelines, specifications, and quality standards. Supervise and direct teams involved in the strip-out process, ensuring the work is completed safely and to plan. Manage scaffolding requirements, ensuring safe access for work areas. Liaise with clients, contractors and senior management team. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Provide technical guidance and support to site teams. Monitor and control project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, with experience overseeing the installation of air source heat pumps or similar systems. In-depth knowledge of electrical installation practices and regulations, particularly in commercial environments. Strong experience in pipework, power supply, and plant room installations. Experience with managing the strip-out process and scaffolding. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and contractors. Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Ability to work under pressure and manage project timelines effectively. Must have a SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card.
