Job Title: Full time teaching assistant
Location: Kettering
Salary: £90-£100 a day
Hours: 8:30 - 3:30
Start date: September 2025
We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work in a small growing primary school in Kettering. The role will include working both in the classroom as general support, taking small groups and working with some individuals where required. The role is suitable for someone looking to expand their experience and support students with their academic and personal growth.
Key responsibilities
Follow plans and instrutions from the class teacher
Work as general support, small group and individual
Foster strong relationships between students, parents and staff
Provide support for academic, social and emotional needs
Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum
Follow the school policies including behaviour and safeguarding
Requirements
Experience working as a teaching assistant with students
A committment to a long term role
Willing to have a Child Enhanced DBS check
An enthusiasm for supporting students
A flexible and adaptable approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
