Production and Performing Arts Lecturer Location: East London/Essex Job Type: Part-time Salary: £30-£45 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Production and Performing Arts Lecturer to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production arts, particularly within a Further Education (FE) setting, and who possesses extensive industry experience. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Production Arts for BTEC students. Schedule includes 11.5 hours of teaching spread across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Utilise industry experience to provide students with insights into theatre production including crew management, stage management, lighting, prop design, and sound engineering. Ensure adherence to BTEC and Quality Assurance processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Production Arts in an FE BTEC setting. Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Certificate of Education, or equivalent. 2-5 years of industry experience with strong current networks and evidence of recent involvement in theatre.
