YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Job Description The Apprentice cable assembly technician sits within the material support centre Team, reporting to the senior engineer. As Apprentice cable assembly technician, your role will be working in our Cable manufacturing unit, in Burntwood. Where they will gain an in-depth knowledge in our real-time passenger information system cables and harnesses. This will cover both manufacturing and testing, for which training will be given. Training will be both internal and external, with the intension of progressing the role within the company. Responsibilities & Accountabilities include: Work with the engineering delivery team to understand commitments and work with the team to meet deadlines. Working to our ISO standards. (9001 & 27001) Generate reports and maintain accurate up to date records at all times Competencies, Skills & Behaviours Professional, confident, and calm even in challenging situations. Job Details and Benefits : There is a 6-month probation period where training will be provided, and clear goals and targets will be outlined. This is a full-time role: 37.5 hours week.
