Talk to us about how we can best support you Your role as a Local Procurement Manager to deliver local procurement performance aligned with prioritised spend, suppliers and contracts management strategies to optimise value to the Group and the banners (B&Q & Screwfix). Analyze spend and other relevant indicators to define a fit for purpose program Align projects with all relevant stakeholders including Banners, group and local functions teams for all budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities Forecast delivery of the program ensuring project delivery dates always remain achievable and accurately recorded in systems Understand and challenge existing requirements and anticipate future ones when possible Work with procurement operations teams to operationalize contracts, in our source to pay tool. e.g. Enabling forms and catalogues to improve ordering end users experience Collaborating with the Procurement Operations and Strategy Team, support the senior local procurement manager to keep the SharePoint page regularly updated as per functional requirement Support the Procurement Operations and Strategy team in defining, prioritising and delivering transformation priorities, leveraging banner experience and requirements Professional qualification in purchasing or business (such as MCIPS, MBA, ESC qualification, master of procurement) desirable Experience with procurement processes and systems (strategic sourcing) Ability to lead and develop an area of responsibility with minimum support Experience with program/project management (e.g. Strategic planning) Supplier relationship management and contract management Be Customer Focused – constantly improving our customers’ experience I listen to my customers I use available data to help make decisions Be Human – acting with humanity and care I do the right thing I am respectful Be Curious – thrive on learning, thinking beyond the obvious I build and share new ideas I try new things and share my learnings Be Agile – working with trust, pace and agility I have courage to be creative Done is better than perfect, I aim for 80/20 Be Inclusive – acting inclusively in diverse teams to work together I embrace allyship I have self-awareness and a desire to learn Be Accountable – championing the plan to deliver results and growth I own my actions I understand the Kingfisher plan and how it relates to my role At Kingfisher, we value the perspectives that any new team members bring, and we want to hear from you.
