In partnership with a South Leeds alternative provision unit, we are looking for talented, creative, and experienced English specialist for students who have been excluded from Mainstream school settings.

What to expect?
The Alternative Provision provides:
* Full and part-time education and support for children and young people in KS2-KS4 who for a variety of reasons are unable to access mainstream education.
* The most prevalent category of need identified is Social emotional and mental health (SEMH) and additionally described as being at risk of permanent exclusion.
* In September 2023, the school was judged ‘Good with outstanding features’ by Ofsted.
A successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS or equivalent
* Show strong Behaviour management qualities.
* English Specialist
* Have previous experience working with, at risk children.
What we need from you:
* To be currently available for full time employment.
* 2x references.
* A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this part).
* Team Teach Positive behaviour management certificate preferred but not essential.
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
