They serve various industries, including insurance, financial services, and government agencies. The main office is in London, and while remote work is possible, the ideal candidate would be London-based due to occasional travel to the London and Paris offices.
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced e-learning developer to create online training content for our customers, partners, and employees. This role involves designing and developing multimedia learning materials on technical topics, making experience in instructional design and tech-focused content ideal.
Our client has a range of training videos that are mostly good but require editing for improvement. The E-Learning Developer will help refine existing content for their new financial product, transforming source material rather than creating everything from scratch.
The product is complex, so the training videos must be user-friendly. Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Camtasia is essential for this contract.
Many existing videos are recorded in French and will need subtitling and/or re-voicing in English. Ensuring subtitles and narrative sync is crucial, and some editing and tweaking may be necessary.
Some videos might require re-recording, and scripting will be important to maintain synchronization after editing. Simple techniques like zooming in/out or highlighting key points may also be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
* Develop e-learning courses on software applications, programming, IT infrastructure, and specialized tools.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate, relevant content.
* Create training resources, including presentations, storyboards, scripts, quizzes, and handouts.
* Use e-learning authoring tools to build interactive learning experiences.
* Ensure all materials meet accessibility and industry standards.
* Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve training content.
* Assist with related administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience in e-learning development and instructional design.
* Skilled with authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Camtasia) and EdTech AI solutions.
* Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and writing scripts.
* Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
