The main office is in London, you can work remotely if you're a good match for the role but the ideal scenario would be finding someone London based as there will be occasions when you need to travel into the London and Paris offices.
Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced e-learning developer to create online training content for our customers, partners, and employees. This role involves designing and developing multimedia learning materials on technical topics, so experience in instructional design and tech-focused content is ideal.
Our client has a range of training videos that are good in the most part but many of them need editing to make them look better or work better for the customer. They need an E-Learning Developer to drive and help develop the content that they already have for their new financial product. You will be transforming source content utilising existing material rather than creating everything from scratch.
The product is very complicated so the training videos need to be as easy to use as possible, You will need good Articulate Storyline and Camtasia experience for this contract.
They have a range of videos which have already been created, most of them are good but a lot of them have been recorded in French so they will need to be subtitled and / or re-voiced in English. They subtitles and narrative will need to be in sync so some editing and tweaking of the videos may need to be done.
They mentioned that some might need to be re-recorded and the scripting side will be quite important to them, in that some of the courses may need to be manipulated o they still sync up after rerecording and editing. Some of them could benefit from simple zoom in zoom out techniques or highlighting certain things to emphasise them.
Responsibilities:
Develop e-learning courses on software applications, programming, IT infrastructure, and specialized tools.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate, relevant content.
Create training resources, including presentations, storyboards, scripts, quizzes, and handouts.
Use e-learning authoring tools to build interactive learning experiences.
Ensure all materials meet accessibility and industry standards.
Gather and analyze feedback to improve training content continuously.
Assist with related administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in e-learning development and instructional design.
Skilled with authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Camtasia) and EdTech AI solutions.
Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and writing scripts.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
