MAP is a charity providing free and independent advice, counselling, youth work and education for young people.
At MAP, we are advisers, counsellors, youth workers and other professionals working together to provide the best support we can to young people aged 11-25, in a way that works for them.

Youth Worker
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Flexible working options available: part time applications will be considered on a job-share basis or stand alone with sufficient hours for the role to be covered. If applying on a part-time or job-share basis please state the hours you require to work. Being able to work flexibly where required which will include evenings, occasional weekends/residentials.
Location: Your main base of work will be either Norwich, Great Yarmouth or Kings Lynn. There will be a requirement for you to be able to travel to locations other than your main base on a regular basis, depending on service requirements.
Salary: Starting salary £28,806 per annum with incremental progression based on performance to £30,975 per annum

Pre Interview screening: As part of our pre-interview screening process, you may be invited to a 15-minute online meeting with our Head of Service. These sessions will take place between Tuesday 8th and Friday 11 th April. Final interview invitations will be confirmed by 5pm on Friday 11 th April.
Interview dates: Tuesday 15 th or Wednesday 16 th April 2025.

As a Youth Worker you will play a crucial role in the lives of many thousands of young people through delivering our diverse programme of activities. This could include one-to-one support, group work, open access sessions, detached work, residentials, and more. You will play a key role in developing inclusive environments and creating meaningful participation opportunities for young people.
Travel will be essential to reach and engage young people in the communities that need us most.
