Our client is looking for an ambitious Technical Support Engineer looking to take their career to the next level. Seeking a proactive and skilled individual, this is an opportunity to join their growing managed services team in Stevenage.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical expertise and learn from my client's experienced 3rd line technical team, working in a Microsoft Partner and Cloud Service Provider environment.
Working with several Government organisations, it is essential all applicants are eligible for SC security clearance. Therefore you *must* hold a British passport and have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for customer queries via phone, email, and self-service portal.
* Investigate and resolve incidents across various technologies.
* Provide outstanding customer service while adhering to SLAs.
* Support hardware troubleshooting, laptop repairs, and rebuilds.
* Collaborate with Desktop Engineers to manage escalations and ensure seamless support.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in IT Support or technical service desk roles.
* Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
* Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
* Deployment using Intune/SCCM
* Full driving license (travel to customer sites required).
