The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join us. The Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for The Whisky Exchange Health & Safety Strategy, and is responsible for delivering our ambition to become 'best in class' in the Wines & Spirits industry, towards zero Lost Time Accidents by 2025. They are accountable for inspiring colleagues to maintain a sustainable behaviour-based H&S culture, for defining tools and process materials, and for driving H&S performance improvement. Your Unique Contribution H&S Roadmap for The Whisky Exchange In collaboration with the Operations Director, continue to deliver the Health and Safety roadmap by 2025 and broaden the H&S ambition beyond physical safety to mental health Manage and monitor Critical Control Path to ensure objectives are met Chair the H&S Committee and as the H&S Champion liaise with the H&S Co-ordinators Liaise with our parent company for standards to adhere to and current best practice Gather benchmarks from other industries to, ensure awareness of leading-edge practice. Enforce the standards where required with relevant stakeholders, reporting and investigating where required Conduct safety inspections relating to H&S Compliance Risk Assessment Management (internal & contractual) and continuous improvement plans; produce audit reports (internal and external), record, control and monitor. Maintain a Risk Register Liaising with HSE, Local Council and External Consultants Deliver H&S Performance improvement Strengthen the H&S principles and processes by tracking clear KPIs and leverage specific Operating Requirements.
