We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated Rehab Occupational Therapist to join our new adult social care Front Door team.
With good communication and IT skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment towards Continued Professional Development, you will be responsible for:
Screening new referrals into social care to identify people with the potential for rehabilitation Identifying what Occupational Therapy inputs could help people coming into social care to live independent lifestyles, and signposting appropriately Providing rapid short-term interventions to reduce people’s needs and risks
You will work closely with other Social Care colleagues and professionals from other partner agencies such as Health.
With a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy, state registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), post-qualification experience in a clinical setting and preferably some experience in rehabilitation, you will work with a wide range of people coming into social care for the first time. Professional support, advice and supervision will be readily available within the Front Door team and through reflective learning with other social care occupational therapists.
