* Monday to Friday working - no weekends!
* 40 hours per week

Job Introduction
As Menu & Recipe Development Chef, you will focus on food innovation, recipe development, menu creation, costing, and all related activities aligned with company standards, legislation, and financial targets. This position involves online menu and recipe management and costing.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop company menus considering cost, standards, and innovation
* Ensure recipes are developed, trialed, and tested
* Identify opportunities for food innovation and price accordingly
* Manage food costs within budget
* Ensure consistency across the business
* Support hospitality and showcasing events
* Update food presentation regularly and assist with staff training
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children
* Plan and execute theme day developments
* Handle technical aspects of food cost, development, and online input
* Collaborate with the nutrition team on allergy reporting and menu creation
The Ideal Candidate
We seek someone passionate about serving great-tasting food and providing excellent service, maintaining high standards, and possessing the following:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
* Proficient in IT and recipe/menu management software
* Strong financial knowledge, including profit and budget management
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
Education & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Intermediate Food Hygiene
* Health & Safety at Work
* Food Craft Qualification & Experience
Other Essential Requirements:
* Full UK Driving License
* Clear Enhanced DBS
* Neat appearance
* Flexible working approach
* Willingness to attend training courses
