The Opportunity On this 6-week Summer Internship, you'll work alongside skilled professionals on real-life meaningful projects from day one, adding value to clients while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others, create your professional network, and participate in regular learning sessions with our leadership team, site visits, and social events to support your learning and development. Well-designed water supply and sanitation systems are essential for healthy and sustainable buildings. Our environmental services engineers tackle a range of design challenges and may also perform civil engineering tasks for projects requiring below-ground drainage design, flood risk analysis, and paving designs. Global water scarcity is rising, and sustainable water management design helps save water and energy. From sustainable drainage systems to water reuse, our expertise helps clients use resources better and enhances resilience. Collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineers allows for integrated building services offerings. We work across various developments, including commercial and residential projects, healthcare facilities, transport projects, and more. We are recruiting Public Health and Plumbing Summer internship students for our Buildings teams. You will prepare designs in coordination with other engineers and external partners for projects across various markets. Is This Role Right for You? We seek candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and attributes: Studying a BEng or MEng in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering On track for a 2:1 or above, based on completed modules Strong motivation and passion for a career in the built environment Passion for sustainability in the built environment We look for curious individuals ready to evolve their thinking and work.
