We require an experienced phlebotomist with excellent written and verbal communication skills to work alongside our phlebotomy service in Central London. The successful candidate will join a well-established phlebotomy service. This is a high performing and popular service that aims to deliver an excellent patient experience with world-class care. This is a part-time post of 20 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will need to be competent in carrying out phlebotomy on adults, children, and elderly patients, and will be required to work under minimal supervision. The post holder will need to be well-organised, efficient, and familiar with all routine blood tests and their clinical importance.

Knowledge and Qualifications
* At least 18 months Phlebotomy experience post certificate
* Certificate of proof

* Able to work in a busy environment

* Ability to communicate with patients, nursing and medical staff
* Understanding the importance of continued development through PDP's
* Experience of identifying quality issues and service improvement
* Ability to understand information processing (IT skills). ERP system.

Salary: £29,485 to £31,088 a year (Per annum inclusive of HCAS Pro rata)
