Job title: Principal Quality Engineer

Salary: £40,748+ depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
* Responsible for Leading Internal Audits
* Provide support on the development of improvement plans using Six Sigma tools and techniques
* Verify effectiveness of improvement plans
* Hold the business to account to performance metrics/compliance requirements
* Proactively escalate issues in a timely manner
* Creation of learning material and educational aids to form part of learning packages/training
* Support delivery of training material
* Building Cross Functional teams
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Ability to interpret Quality specifications, procedures and contractual requirements i.e. ISO 9001
* Verification / Audit skills
* Experience of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; Fishbone, 5 Why, relationship diagrams, Six Sigma etc
* Presentation and Facilitation Skills

The Quality Assurance team:
Applicant will be joining a newly formed team which is open to fresh perspectives and innovation, we are purpose driven and everyone's contribution has an impact. The Mission for the team is to improve accountability for Quality performance by modernising the business's Quality Assurance (QA) approach through the enhanced implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of the application of the Submarines Operating Framework as an assurance framework.
