Part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) is seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Payscale: Scale 2, Point 5 (FTE £24,790 per year, approx. £18,207 Pro-rata)
32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

About You
1. Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant (experience in teaching phonics interventions would be desirable)
2. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
3. Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
4. Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
5. Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
6. Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use their initiative
7. Be able to work flexibly and professionally
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year. The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support.
