Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Level 2)
Axcis Education is working in partnership with several local primary schools across the Tameside borough to recruit Level 2 Learning Support Assistants. We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to support students with a range of needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND and additional learning needs.
2. Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
3. Support children with social, emotional, and academic development.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Work closely with SENCOs and other professionals to implement tailored support plans.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
2. Experience working with children in a school setting.
3. A passion for supporting young learners, particularly those with additional needs.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
