We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Childrens Support Worker (Team Leader) to join our clients team and contribute to providing a high-quality respite care service for families in Guildford and surrounding areas in Surrey.
The successful candidate will be working shifts either 7am-215pm, 145pm-9pm or 10am-6pm on a 3 weekly rota basis. You will also working some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering personalised care as outlined in individual care plans, including personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and meals.
Monitor and evaluate the well-being of children/young adults, reporting any changes or concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation related to care plans, health and safety, and daily reports.
Foster therapeutic relationships, promoting the rights and dignity of each child/young person.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for both staff and service users.
Collaborate effectively with the care team and multidisciplinary professionals to enhance service delivery.
Personal Development:
Engage in your professional development by discussing goals and training needs with the Manager.
Attend relevant training and contribute to initiatives that foster effective team dynamics.
