Summary The eFX IT technology team is responsible for a suite of applications and services that form the core of the eFX business line servicing clients, internal Sales, and other branches of the group. The suite includes connectivity to markets and multi-dealer venues, single dealer platform (Jetstream), pricing and trader tools (including the algo platform SharpFX), and supports FX spot, forward, options and deposits. The FX business is looking to improve their electronic footprint through competitive pricing and algorithmic hedging, spot and non-spot products and improved distribution capabilities. As a senior business analyst and delivery lead within the eFX IT team you will work with stakeholders to understand their requirements, guide developers in delivering quality solutions and help coordinate from inception to delivery. You will be an experienced delivery lead, preferably also with business analyst skills, with a proven track record in FX e-trading and/or e-commerce. An energetic self-driven individual, adaptable as the context determines, to take instruction and work autonomously or to work collaboratively as part of a small team is required. Experience of delivery-focused methodologies such as sprint planning, scrum etc. would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities • Work to organise and optimise the delivery schedule of the Jetstream FX team, including prioritisation, optimisation, sprint planning etc. in concert with multiple stakeholders both on the business and IT side. • Manage and deliver specific work packages and projects • Functional testing of enhancements in collaboration with the QA team • Assist in the selection and implementation of vendor software. • Develop and maintain good working relations with the business (front, middle and back office, Risk, etc.). • Work with stakeholders to prioritise and keep them updated of progress, risks and issues. • Update system and project documentation. • Provide the necessary day to day support for production issues 1. Comprehensive exposure in the following aspects of electronic trading within the FX business line: a. FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Options) b. FX Pricing and Limit Orders c. Interaction with multi dealer platforms d. FX administration and process flows including organization of static data, credit checks, STP 2. Participation in IT projects including business analysis and project or work package management. Essential: Educated to university standard Desirable: Degree related to business or IT
