We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HSQE Manager in a joint Rubax/Schindler Team position, based out of our Warrington Office. This is a vital role and is an essential role in supportingthe operational teams & Management as the necessary interface with Schindler H&S and Quality departments. They will oversee re-accreditation audits when due and be responsible forarranging internal training record planning and monitoring amongst other business critical tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support both Rubax and Schindler in the on-going implementation of HSQE initiatives.
Though based out of Warrington, support coverage will be National including Scotland and Ireland
Maintain all Rubax management systems (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) and oversee re certifications audits to ensure the business is not at a commercial disadvantage to the competition.
The role actively supports day to day Rubax Operations and upcoming work.
Collate and complete sustainability related report data
Conduct all aspects of HSQE management systems development, implementation, and maintenance.
Provide Operational support for service, repair, and lift project activities.
Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Support operational management with development of CDM compliant Construction Phase Plans for lift projects.
Support PQQ, accident and incident investigations, maintain records and provide reports to senior management as and when required. Assist in providing Toolbox Talks / Refresher Training
Maintain information and records required by customers, external authorities, and certification assessment bodies.
Attend and engage with the HS&W Committee
Generate and distribute reports on HSQE KPIs to drive engagement.
Conduct safety engagements with engineers and managers.
Support with training and tracking/recording of the workforce in relation to same
Profile description:
Candidate Requirements:
Proven and ideally 5 years plus experience preparing for and dealing with ISO audits across the various certificate types
Preferable Lift Industry experience
Health and safety qualifications and experience minimum level 3, preferably level 6
Internal auditing qualifications and experience over Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems Lead Auditor preferable
Experience in generating Construction Phase Plans and General RAMS
Flexibility on travel and working hours
Must be IT literate and able to use a variety of platforms and technologies
Ability to influence change
Good critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills at various levels (Client/Engineers/Managers)
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Keen diligence
Full UK driving License required
