Claims Handler
If you have experience of working within a contact or call centre and are looking to progress into a more senior position, then this is the perfect opportunity! You will be working as part of a claims team dealing with customers who have damage to their personal properties. Working a part of a close-knit team you will support customers as their case handler providing regular updates and reassurance throughout the process. Exceptional customer service skills are required for this role along with the desire to work in a contact centre environment.
Start: ASAP
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £Negotiable DOE
Hours: Between 8am & 6pm, Shift 1 – 8am – 4.30pm, Shift two 9.30am – 6pm (mixture of both)
Duration: Permanent

Duties:
* Answering inbound customer service calls
* Dealing with inbound email claims
* Advising customers on the best way to process their claims following internal processes
* Updating the database with relevant notes and transcription of calls
* Monitoring a claim and providing customer updates via email and telephone
* Dealing with any customer complaints
* Explaining about relevant policy cover to policy holders
Skills and Experience Required:
* Confident telephone manner – previous call centre experience essential
* Ability to work under pressure while delivering the very best customer service
* Ability to deal with complaints in a professional manner
* IT skills for updating the database and relevant claims
