Role Purpose This position will be reporting into the Contract Manager or Senior Engineer for the region that you have been assigned to. You will work within the overall operations team, where you are expected to carry out electrical installation and maintenance within your specific area. As an experienced Electrician you will be required to liaise with our clients, developing and harnessing relationships by delivering excellent customer service to each individual project and therefore a high level of diligence, accountability and client liaison skills at site level are required to be successful in this position. An Electrician will be expected to visit around three projects per day and therefore, the position will suit someone who is confident with changing projects at short notice and managing various projects at any one time. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role To carry out electrical installation, maintenance and decommissioning works at various sites within your region. To maintain compliance with industry standard safety regulations on all projects. To represent the company in a professional capacity, liaising with clients to ensure that their requirements are met. Maintain regular contact with the Contract Manager, Engineers and Supervisors providing updates on project deadlines. To deal with minor and medium sized site issues, referring more complex issues to Senior Management. To be able to work on your own proficiently and carry out electrical installation work without detailed supervision in the most efficient and economical manner. To manage the company plant, materials, tools and equipment on site and report any losses or deficiencies to Management. Carry out basic site administration on a weekly basis, completing site record vouchers and personal time sheet in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Assisting and supervising improvers/trainees/apprentices.
