Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (OFRS) Fleet Department maintain a large portfolio of specialised vehicles and equipment ensuring that these assets are maintained in a timely manner, to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers specifications and current legislative guidance of motor vehicles. About the role
OFRS are seeking to appoint a Fleet Administrator within the Fleet Department. This role will provide a high level of administrative support to the fleet workshops team and other fleet departments within the County Council. The Fleet Administrator position is highly valued and seen as essential to support the efficient running of the department.
This is an essential role in supporting the fleet team to manage, control and regulate the day-to-day operations of the OFRS fleet and engineering workshops, ensuring that the Services’ specialised vehicle fleet and equipment are legally compliant and available for emergency response.

About you
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to provide a high level of support to the service, within our Fleet Workshops Team.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
* Experience in an administrative role.
* Great communication skills both written and oral.
* To possess a positive attitude and to be committed to your role in Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service.
* To be a team player who supports your colleagues to meet the service needs.
* Strong IT literacy skills to work with our software systems and support paperless working. With a good level of understanding of Microsoft applications including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Work well as part of a team but also independently and adopt a proactive approach to any work assigned.
