We are currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated and friendly Payroll team here at CVS. Summary of role: Within this role you will produce and provide a comprehensive and professional service throughout the organisation in respect of the payroll function and the co-ordination and supply of services relating to employees pay and benefits. Please note: this is a hybrid position where you will work 3 days a week at our Head Office in Diss, and two days a week from home. Key responsibilities and tasks to include: Trainee Payroll Team Leader Following successful completion of probation period, take responsibility for management of two members of the payroll team. Working closely with the existing Payroll Management Team, learn the necessary skills to be able to effectively manage two payroll team members. Once the appropriate management skills can be demonstrated, take responsibility for a full team of 5-6 payroll team members with a job title change to Payroll Team Leader. Target date for movement into Payroll Team Leader role is 12 months in role. Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all UK employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. Ensure correct application of payroll policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Handle complex payroll queries and provide solutions in a timely manner. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and ensure all processes are compliant. SLAs: speed/quality/ease of use Generate regular payroll reports and provide insights to senior management. Systems and Process Improvement: Culture change on the team Find efficiencies and streamline Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations and resolve issues. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external payroll audits.
