Purpose of the Role: Join our team to support learners with additional learning needs, primarily within our 14-16 provision, ensuring all students receive tailored educational assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the College's mission, values, and strategic goals.
2. Promote equality and diversity, actively addressing discrimination.
3. Engage in professional development and contribute to the College's continuous improvement.
4. Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies.
5. Assist in College-wide projects and tasks as needed.
6. Maintain learner support records, including annual reviews and progress monitoring.
7. Escort students on off-site activities as required.
8. Support students outside of timetabled hours, such as invigilating exams or supervising students during breaks.
9. Collaborate with the 14-16 team and curriculum staff to ensure effective delivery of support.
10. Manage challenging behaviour and assist students with mobility difficulties.
11. Participate in special exam access arrangements and provide advice on disability support.
