St Peters Surgery in Woolston is looking for an exceptional practice nurse to join our busy friendly team.
We are looking for part-time hours which can be flexible over 4-5 days Monday to Saturday, providing clinics in the surgery and visiting patients in their homes.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
We are looking for an experienced practice nurse with treatment room experience, in particular, asthma, smears, dressings, travel vaccines, and baby immunisations. Previous primary care experience is essential.
The applicant must be a hard-working team player who wishes to deliver excellent care to our patients and someone who can share in our vision of making primary care the very best it can be.
This is a career-defining opportunity to join a rapidly growing practice where innovation is the normal way of operating. You will be working alongside an exceptional clinical and partner team who are active in our PCN and with NHSE. Now is an exciting time to join this practice as you will be involved in shaping its future.
We are a small, very friendly teaching practice with a new vision for innovative development and growth to become a holistic health and wellbeing centre. The practice has exceptional staff retention among their existing clinical and non-clinical team. We are a teaching practice for students and allied professionals and are developing a strong multi-disciplinary team via the PCN.
The surgery offers an incredible atmosphere to work in, with an open-door policy and regular meetings with the multi-disciplinary team and the practice team. Everyone has an opportunity to voice opinions as to how the practice could be improved, and the aim is to move to a shared ownership model for all staff.
Our patient demographic is very mixed, resulting in a very diverse and interesting clinical workload which is set at a realistic level.
Our admin team is highly organised and are implementing additional workflow management systems to reduce the administrative burden for everyone. Employee progression will be supported.
