Responsibilities
IDEMIA, the global leader in ID & Payment Card manufacturing, located in Exton PA, is looking to bolster our production team on 2nd shift by bringing in a new Machine Operator to assist in our manufacturing process by setting up, operating, monitoring & maintaining machinery.
Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Responsibilities:
* Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures.
* Adhere to the IDEMIA Quality Policy.
* Contribute to team success by meeting target volumes monthly.
* Understand parts per hour or pieces per hour and demonstrate ability to count.
* Set up, operate and produce product within ISO specifications while meeting machine expectations provided by the Production Supervisor.
* Cross-train within the department to create flexibility within the teams as described by the Production Supervisor.
* Use various precision equipment; experience with computers is preferred; attention to detail is imperative, along with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends as business needs meet market demands.
* Maintain 5S activities for machines/area operated to include TPM tasks.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED.
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to work in a team-based environment.
* 1-2 years of experience working in manufacturing.
