The Company
The business is a multi-functional chemical and industrial manufacturer and this role will be working closely with the Plant Managers, head of HSE, Sustainability and Process Safety as well as all internal stakeholders. The business focuses on Infection protection and water hygiene with around 30 sites across Europe.
The Role
* This role offers the opportunity to work across and mentor multiple manufacturing sites in HSE training, coaching, and internal compliance to HSE standards.
* Identify SHE risks within the safety culture and implement and track actions to mitigate those risks to an acceptable level.
* Advise and support on matters related to compliance with EU/Country SHE Legislation.
* Engage with Regional and Global Process Safety teams to ensure alignment/consistency of approach, and the development of joint policies, standards, guidance, and best practices touching on both disciplines.
* Support and train the EU SHE network to minimize SHE losses.
* Lead and participate in relevant SHE workshops and committees across Europe, and in the Global organization as required.
* Lead, or provide expert support for, SHE and HPNM incident investigations and analysis, leading to the identification of root causes and development and communication of subsequent actions.
Qualifications & Skills
* Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety & Environment.
* Working knowledge or Qualification in Sustainability.
* Working Knowledge of ISO 45001 / 14001.
* Technically skilled in using Process Safety tools and concepts.
