Agile Delivery Manager - Permanent - Hybrid We are working with our insurance group client in their search for an Agile Delivery Manager to lead autonomous squads in developing high-quality software aligned with business priorities. The role focuses on coaching teams in Agile principles, fostering self-organisation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to create a culture of growth and innovation. This will be mainly a remote position with travel around once a month to either Manchester or Stoke-on-Trent. Key Responsibilities:
1. Coach squads on Agile processes, encouraging self-organisation and continuous improvement.
2. Remove obstacles, optimise work-flow, and ensure Agile methodologies are applied effectively.
3. Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to prioritise and manage work across squads.
4. Promote a growth mindset, ensuring a high level of motivation and performance within the team.
5. Track and report squad progress to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with timelines and business goals.
6. Communicate and negotiate with Product Owners and key stakeholders, to ensure that delivery expectations are managed, User Stories are correctly prioritised, resources are provided, and issues resolved efficiently to ensure a smooth development pipeline of delivery.
7. Support change delivery by reviewing, monitoring, and reporting progress against IT work-stream plans.
Requirements:
8. Expert in Agile methodologies and experience in coaching teams .
9. Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills.
10. Proven experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Manager role
11. Confident with Jira and other Agile tools - including a variety of Agile frameworks .
12. Experience leading teams to maturity and facilitating large-scale planning.
Desirable:
13. Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, Scaled Agile Framework).
14. Insurance or Financial services background
