United Roofing Products (URP) are the South West’s leading manufacturer of metal roofing sheets, and distributor of industrial roofing & cladding systems. At United Roofing Products we pride ourselves on our history of being a local, friendly, and helpful business, run with a family ethos. We supply into the trade for industrial and commercial buildings, as well as direct to consumers and agricultural customers. Providing a rapid made to measure service, we prepare products to your requirements for both roofing sheets and cladding.
We are currently looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager, who will increase sales of core products to core markets within our region, having a focus on distribution partners such as roofing and building merchants. Introduce and drive sales of new products to existing and new customers, with a focus on standing seam systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partake in proactive sales of core and new products to new and existing customers.
• Target distributers such as roofing and building merchants.
• Collaborate setting sales targets and initiatives for growth.
• Achieve the highest margins within the market conditions.
• Gather and feedback commercial intel to the directors.
• Account management and relationship building
• Identify opportunities
• Target dormant and declining accounts
• Managing and chasing quotes and tracking projects through to order.
• Attend meetings and deliver reports on request
• Deal with complaints and issues
The successful candidate will require:
• Extensive sales background and experience
• Experience selling construction products preferred
• Industry specific knowledge preferred
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Evidence of success in consistently achieving sales targets.
• People skills and relationship building.
• Knowledge and understanding of marketing.
• Competency in understanding product technical data and compliance requirements.
• IT literate
• Full driving licence
